Description
Summary:The extensive researches undertaken by this author and his pupils have investigated the influence of Catholic ideas on Polish conservatives and nationalists during the 20th century. Since the end of the 1920s Polish conservative nationalism was heavily influenced by Catholic values, including neo-Thomist philosophy. It was therefore markedly different from other nationalistic groups in Europe. Many of these derived their ideas from neo-pagan thought or so-called social darwinism. So these had little or nothing in common with universalism and the principles of Catholic social teachings.
