Description
Summary:The author presents a preparatory work to an intended complete documentation of the church leader's conference. Till now completeness about this event has not been attainable, because important sources were unknown. A documentation and examination based on new materials is expected to get deeper insights and better founded judgements concerning the aspects of history, theology and church right. For the first time transparent informations are given about the sessions of the dominant groups, „Lutherrat" and „Bruderrat". These sessions ultimately led to the formation of the „Rat der Evangelischen Kirche in Deutschland". Special attention is focused in the internal session („geschlossene Sitzung") of the second day, on which the decision about the progress of the conference depended to a certain extent. - An appendix presents an exact synopsis on the course of the conference. It demonstrates how important the internal sessions and the internal counsels of the different groups have been for the conference.
