| Summary: | Our image of God will always be imperfect and incomplete, but the theological reflection that is supported by new science paradigms could provide a new image that was closer to the God of the biblical tradition. The theology of nature, understood as the believer reading (from the faith) on the data of nature (from science) leads to an image of God in the line advocated by the kenotic theology of a love self-limiting God. The objective of this paper is to show how the greatest discoveries of science seem to point towards a kenosis of God in his omnipotence, omniscience and omnipresence, each of which is starred by one of the three divine Persons. The being of trinitarian God is to be in relation, a relation constituted by an absolute kenosis of self-giving by love and that is also reflected in His relationship with the world. Nuestra imagen de Dios siempre será imperfecta e incompleta, pero la reflexión teológica sustentada en nuevos esquemas de pensamiento podría facilitarnos una imagen más próxima al Dios de la tradición bíblica. La teología de la naturaleza, entendida como la lectura creyente (desde la fe) de los datos de la naturaleza (desde la ciencia) nos conduce a una imagen de Dios en la línea preconizada por la teología kenótica: la de un Dios autolimitado por amor. El propósito de este artículo es mostrar cómo los mayores descubrimientos de la ciencia parecen apuntar hacia una kénosis de Dios en su omnipotencia, omnisciencia y omnipresencia, cada una de ellas protagonizada por una de las Personas divinas. El Dios trinitario es fundamentalmente un ser en relación, una relación consistente en una absoluta autodonación por amor y que se refleja asimismo en su relación con el mundo. |
