| Summary: | The aim of this study is to explore the possibilities of a theological reading of the immortal work of M. de Cervantes, The ingenious Hidalgo don Quixote. For that, firstly, the article presents the debate about the nature of Catholicism by Cervantes, its dependence from Erasmus or its proximity to the Council of Trient (A. Castro, M. Bataillon, M. Unamuno, S. Muñoz Iglesias). Secondly, the author discovers and describes the Don Quixote’s religion and the faith of Alonso Quijano. El objetivo de este estudio es explorar las posibilidades de una lectura teológica de la inmortal obra de Miguel de Cervantes, El ingenioso hidalgo don Quijote de la Mancha. Para ello, primeramente, el artículo presenta el debate acerca de la naturaleza del catolicismo de Cervantes, su dependencia de Erasmo o su proximidad al concilio de Trento (según la interpretación de A. Castro, M. Bataillon, M. Unamuno, S. Muñoz Iglesias). En segundo término, el autor descubre y describe la religión de don Quijote y la fe de Alonso Quijano. |
