| Summary: | Analogy within the theological discourse is part of the capital themes of fundamental theology: the possibility of a real discourse about god’s mystery. Four writings of the theologian Hans Urs von Balthasar established a real dialogue with Karl Barth’s theology. Analyzing these writings we can extract conclusions about the characteristics proper to catholic recourse to analogy and theology’s foundations and purpose itself. Before being a simple linguistic tool, analogy is an ontological and transcendental question since it points to a concrete reality (revelation in existence) and leads to the trinitarian mystery of god in relation with the creation. Theology treats analogy with a double question for the philosopher and the theologian. For the philosopher because it situates itself in the relationship between the finite and the infinite, in other terms within the sphere of truth, or wisdom. For the theologian because of a two-fold reason: analogy is the form of god’s revelation through human language (words, actions and existence), and because the task of theology is in itself called to be philosophical and metaphysical in its search for the truth. La analogía dentro del discurso teológico forma parte de uno de los temas capitales de la teología fundamental: la posibilidad del discurso verdadero sobre el misterio de dios. Cuatro obras del teólogo Hans Urs von Balthasar fueron un verdadero diálogo con la teología de Karl Barth. Analizando estas obras podemos extraer conclusiones sobre las características propias del recurso católico a la analogía y, por tanto, del quehacer teológico y sus fundamentos. Antes que ser un recurso puramente lingüístico, la analogía es una cuestión ontológica y trascendental, ya que apunta a una realidad concreta (revelación en la existencia) y remite en su ultimidad al misterio trinitario de dios en relación con la creación. El tratamiento teológico de la analogía encierra por ello una doble palabra dirigida al filósofo y al teólogo. Al primero porque lo sitúa en el centro de las relaciones entre la finitud y la infinitud, y en último término en el ámbito de la verdad, o de la sabiduría. Al segundo, por una doble razón, porque la analogía es la forma de revelación de dios a través del lenguaje humano (palabra, acción y existencia), y porque el quehacer teológico mismo está llamado a ser filosófico y metafísico en cuanto tiene de búsqueda de la verdad. |
