Summary: | Traditional management systems fail to respond adequately to the reality of religious pluralism. Labor market reflects this fact, Religious freedom in the workplace nowadays is recognised as having the potential to create debate. The aim of this issue is to study how can employees ensure their rights are being upheld when it comes to their religious beliefs. To achieve this goal we rely on an analysis of case-law. La nueva realidad sociológica, en torno al hecho religioso, ha puesto de manifiesto que los tradicionales sistemas de gestión no dan respuesta adecuada a la realidad del pluralismo religioso. Fiel reflejo de esta sociedad que describimos es, sin duda, el mercado laboral. El ejercicio de la libertad ideológica, religiosa y de culto, en el ámbito de las relaciones laborales es hoy un tema candente. El trabajo que hoy ofrecemos pretende realizar una ponderación de los derechos en juego: libertad religiosa del trabajador vs, libertad de dirección y organización del empresario. Para lograr este objetivo nos basaremos en un análisis del case-law, más significativo. |
