| Summary: | Pastoral letters are composed in a polemical context. The polemic inside the community between the official doctrine and that of the opponents reflects a struggle for power between two groups who pretend to establish normative organization models. The present study pretends to show the dynamics by which the author tries to make illegitimate the opponent’s position and bar them from the community. At the same time, the Letters show how some women took part actively in opponent’s movement and claimed for authority and protagonism. The aim of the article is to study women’s status inside the community and analyse the normative proposals both groups designed for them. Las Cartas Pastorales están escritas en un contexto de lucha intracomunitaria. La polémica que se produce en el interior de la comunidad entre la doctrina sana y la «heterodidascalia» es reflejo de las luchas de poder entre dos grupos que pugnan por establecer modelos normativos de organización. El presente estudio pretende mostrar las dinámicas mediante las cuales el autor de las cartas pretende deslegitimar la posición de sus oponentes y expulsarlos de la comunidad. Al mismo tiempo, las cartas muestran que algunas mujeres participaron activamente en el movimiento de oposición y que reclamaron para sí papeles de autoridad y protagonismo. El objetivo de la presente investigación es estudiar el status de las mujeres en la comunidad de las Cartas Pastorales y analizar las propuestas normativas que ambos grupos diseñaron para ellas. |
