Carlo Belleo, a prominent person of the Friars Minor Conventual and an illustrious philosopher. He was born around 1525 in Ragusa (Syracuse) and died on May 21st 1580 in Padua. He held the chair of Scotist metaphysics at the University. He was the Minister Provincial of St. Agatha and St. Lucy for ten months, regent in various Studies of the Order and a distinguished speaker. |
