Un'ampia sezione introduttiva è dedicata all'arrivo, nel Duecento, dei primi francescani nel basso Lazio. The contribution presents the history of the Franciscan presence in the city of Sora up to now a subject of few studies. The author focuses on the foundation of the two friaries in the city, the first, in chronological order, of the friars minor conventual, the second of the Capuchin Franciscans, highlighting in particular the vocational paths that have sprung up in the city over the centuries and linked to these minority settlements. A large introductory section is dedicated to the arrival, in the thirteenth century, of the first Franciscans in Southern Lazio. |
