In-Kind Payment as Therapy in Pastoral Counseling

Pastoral counselors can improve their counseling through a contract of inkind payment. The counseled person gives volunteer work to a service organization in return for the pastor's counseling. Not only does in-kind payment aid the counseling process, but it is therapeutic in itself.
