Silence as Creative Therapy: A Contemplative Approach to Pastoral Care

The Quaker experience of the medium of silence for pastoral care has a long tradition, and, in a brief way, this paper attempts to point out the meaning of silence from the point of view of Quakers and the value of silence as a therapeutic medium for the pastoral leader.
