Description
Summary:This book is a translation of the fourth edition of the study that first appeared in Germany in 1993. It is the most comprehensive and detailed book on the persecution and incarceration of the Jehovah's Witnesses in Nazi Germany since the first works on the subject appeared in the 1970s., The Jehovah's Witnesses, also known as the International Bible Students Association and the Watch Tower Society, was founded in 1870 in the United States as a Christian adventist, millenialist, and revivalist organization. The Witnesses professed their loyalty only to Jehovah, and believed that they would prevail after the Battle of Armageddon as a victorious elect in a thousand-year period of heavenly peace. They refused to serve in the army of any nation and to give their allegiance to any government.
