Sumario: | This article investigates the function of the metaphor “Abraham’s bosom” (κόλπος Ἀβραάμ) in Luke 16:22–23 using tools borrowed from cognitive linguistics, specifically Cognitive Metaphor Theory and Conceptual Blending Theory.
