| Summary: | Obwohl die Begriffe "gesund" und "krank" in unserer Lebenspraxis ständig verwendet werden und für unser tägliches Handeln eine wesentliche Rolle spielen, stellen sie sich bei genauerem Hinsehen als semantisch höchst anspruchsvolle Begriffe dar. Doch wer kompetent ist, Auskunft über diese Begriffe, ihre Inhalte und ihre Praxisrelevanz zu geben, ist nicht einfach festzumachen. Zudem ist unklar, nach welchem Typ von Wissen hier gefragt wird, wenn Krankheits- und Gesundheitszustände beschrieben werden sollen. Welche Bedeutung kommt angesichts der Strukturveränderungen in der Medizin dem Krankheitsbegriff noch zu? Welche Rolle spielt hinsichtlich der neuen medizinischen Handlungsmöglichkeiten noch das Arzt-Patient-Verhältnis? Wird der Patient zum Kunden, die Vertraulichkeit zur Vertraglichkeit, die Medizin zur reinen Serviceleistung? Wie verändert sich hierdurch das menschliche Selbstverhältnis durch eine neue Form von funktionalistischer "Anthropotechnik"? Although the terms "healthy" and "sick" are constantly used in our daily lives and play an essential role in our daily activities, on closer inspection they turn out to be semantically highly demanding terms. However, it is not easy to determine who is competent to provide information about these terms, their contents and their practical relevance. Moreover, it is unclear what type of knowledge is being asked for, when states of illness and health are to be described. In view of the structural changes in medicine, what significance is still attached to the concept of disease? What role does the doctor-patient relationship still play with regard to the new possibilities for medical action? Will the patient become a customer, will confidentiality be replaced by a contractual obligation, will medicine be reduced to a mere service? How does this change the human self-relationship through a new form of functionalist anthropotechnology? |
