Summary:To read the Bible, to make a connection between the words of the Gospel and life - this was, from the beginning, the practiced reality of the Focolare Movement, a Catholic, and later on ecumenical-interreligious renewal movement in the Catholic Church: the "word of life" has, ever since then, been a foundational practice. But this is about more than a spiritual practice that is, at its core, a simple experience of storytelling: behind it is an influential theology and mystics that are worth discovering. And still: it is only in the telling of the origin and in the following of the institution that the depth of this approach becomes clear - this will be attempted in the following.
