Description
Summary:The consolidation of AAPC and ACPE created an opportunity to advance the discipline and practice of spiritually integrated psychotherapy in a distinctive, sustainable way. AAPC’s way of educating and forming counselors is like a tree whose root system is strong, but its previous location was no longer viable. This article expands the metaphor of transplanting the AAPC tree and outlines how the consolidation will facilitate the growth of spiritually integrated psychotherapy in the AAPC tradition into the future.
