Summary: | Similarities and contrasts between various biblical principles and behavioral approaches related to establishing positive behavior and eliminating negative behavior are discussed. Examination of the Bible reveals that it is to a substantial degree a behavior-oriented book. Similarities between biblical principle and behavior technology are shown. Although precautions must be taken in adopting a particular behavioral approach to ascertain whether it is consistent with the Bible in terms of its methods and goals, behavioral technology is concluded to be broadly consistent with the biblical view of man. |
