Résumé:The concept of oneness connects the different parts of 1 Corinthians - not only as the basic literary motif operative throughout the letter, but also as regards the letter's theology, insofar as the reality and significance of unity is elaborated in terms of the doctrine of God and of Christ, as well as ecclesiologically, anthropologically and, finally, eschatologically. The article elaborates this thesis by way of a survey of the letter.
