During the works carried out by the French Archaeological Mission between 1980 and 1985, new buildings near Kamna, al-Baydà' and Khirbat Hamdân were surveyed. Between 1988 and 1992, the two excavated temples of 'Athtar dhû-Risaf in as-Sawdâ' and Nakrah in Barâqish provided impressive architectural and chronological information, allowing new interpretations of the religious architecture in this area. | ||
