| Summary: | Prof. Dr. Beyza Bilgin, 1956 yılında başladığı "ilahiyat" kariyerini "din eğitimi" alanında sürdüren ve alanının ilk profesörü olarak bu yolculuğunu devam ettiren bir din eğitimcisidir. Bu makalede, Türkiye’de din eğitimi alanında yaptığı bilimsel araştırmalarla önemli katkılar sağlayan Beyza Bilgin’in hayatı ve çalışmaları tanıtılarak din eğitimine katkıları ele alınıp değerlendirilmiştir. Bu doğrultuda makalenin temel problematiği, din eğitimi bilimi için oldukça etkili bir isim olan Beyza Bilgin’in çalışma ve çabalarının din eğitimi bilimine ve din eğitiminin boyutlarına olan katkısının neler olduğu sorusu ekseninde kurgulanmıştır. Dolayısıyla çalışmanın amacı, din eğitiminin bilimselleşme yolculuğundaki katkılarıyla kendi zamanının ötesine uzanan Bilgin’in zihinsel ve akademik üretimlerinin, din eğitimi alanına olan etki ve katkılarını betimsel bir bakış açısıyla ortaya koymaya çalışmaktır. Bu amacı gerçekleştirebilmek için Bilgin’in aile, eğitim ve meslek hayatını içeren yaşam öyküsüne, 15.09.2020 tarihinde kendisi ile yapılan mülakat sonucunda ulaşılmıştır. Biyografik veriler haricinde Bilgin’in düşünsel projeksiyonları olan yayınları da alana olan etkisini ve katkısını daha belirgin hale getirmek maksadıyla ayrıca makalede ele alınmıştır. Din eğitimi alanında birçok ilke imza atan Beyza Bilgin’in din eğitimine katkılarının hangi boyutlarda ve nasıl olduğu soruları, durum desenli betimleyici içerik analizi yöntemi ile cevaplanmaya çalışılmıştır. Makalenin sonucunda, Beyza Bilgin’in din eğitiminin bilimselleşmesi ve kurumsallaşmasının yanı sıra alandaki teorik ve pratik gelişmelerin öncüsü olduğuna ulaşılmıştır. Prof. Dr. Beyza Bilgin was a religious educator who continued her “theology” career, which she started in 1956, in the field of “religious education” and crowned this journey as the first professor of her field. In this article, the life and works of Beyza Bilgin, who has made significant contributions to the scientific research she has done in the field of religious education in Turkey, are mentioned and her contributions to religious education are discussed and evaluated. In this direction, the main focus of the article is on the question of what is the contribution of Beyza Bilgin, a very influential name for the science of religious education, to the science of religious education and the dimensions of religious education. Therefore, the aim of the study is to try to reveal the effects and contributions of the intellectual and academic productions of Beyza Bilgin who extend beyond her own time through her contributions to the journey of scientific religious education, to the field of religious education from a descriptive point of view. In order to achieve this goal, Bilgin’s life story, which includes his family, education and professional life, was reached as a result of an interview with her on 15.09.2020. Apart from biographical data, Bilgin’s publications with intellectual projections are also discussed in the article in order to make her influence and contribution to the field more obvious. It has been tried to be answered by the method of descriptive content analysis with a situation pattern of questions about the dimensions and how Beyza Bilgin, who has signed many firsts in the field of religious education, contributed to religious education. As a result of this stage, Beyza Bilgin has deeply influenced the scientificization and institutionalization of religious education, formal religious education and training, as well as non-formal religious education with its theoretical and practical dimensions, that she is a pioneer of developments in the field, and it has been found that her works set a fresh horizon for future studies and applications. |
