Summary: | In the following communication, the results of collations conducted on the Old Babylonian archival documents of the Altorientalisches Institut of the Universität Leipzig in 2014 are presented. These results allow for a more precise determination of the tablets’ dates, places of origin, as well as their connections to already-known individuals’ activities and dossiers (‚archives‘). The importance of this data is crucial, because all of the material was acquired on the antiquities market early on in the 20 th century, and therefore nothing is known about the archaeological context of these tablets. The paper closes with remarks on three Ur III documents of the same collection. |
