Bemerkungen zum „‘‘w“-Vogel im ägyptischen pBM 9997, VI, 8
In this article, a new attempt at explaining the “ ‘‘w ”-bird in pBM 9997, VI, 8, is undertaken. As it turns out, the word could be a metathesis for the “ ‘w‘ ”-bird from the coffin texts. Accordingly, the “ ‘w‘ ”-bird is documented even in the New Kingdom.
