| Summary: | Desde una realidad del trabajo doméstico de niñas en América Latina, en este artículo se realiza una exploración a la narrativa e itinerancia textual de Rode en Los Hechos (12:12-16); Rode ¿niña, adolescente, joven? ¿sirvienta, esclava? en casa de una familia de las primeras comunidades cristianas. Del movimiento de Jesús a la vida de las casas-iglesias bajo el imperio. Del estatus del texto en el contexto y en la investigación bíblica. En un trabajo exploratorio, desde la hermenéutica de la sospecha, se elabora una biografía o historia de vida de Rode. Es posible subvertir el orden y transitar de lecturas androcéntricas, patriarcales y excluyentes, hacia lecturas que invitan a crear, imaginar y reconstruir hermenéuticas liberadoras. A la par, se establece una conexión con los derechos para las niñas y jóvenes en situaciones de vulnerabilidad y explotación. Y todo esto viene de Rode. Un desafío urgente al compromiso de las comunidades cristianas de hoy. From the reality of girls doing domestic work in Latin America, this article explores the narrative and text roaming of Rhoda in the book of Acts. Girl, teenager, young woman? servant, slave? In the home of a family of the first Christian communities; from the Jesus movement to life in the homes-churches under the empire. From the status of the text in the context and in the biblical research. In an exploratory work, from the hermeneutics of suspicion, a biography or story of the life of Rhoda is written. It is possible to subvert the order and move from androcentric, patriarchal and exclusionary readings, towards readings that invite us to create, imagine and construct liberating hermeneutics. At the same time, a connection is established with the rights for girls and young women in situations of vulnerability and exploitation. And all of this comes from Rhoda.
