| Summary: | La lectura contextual de la Biblia en el continente latinoamericano ha permitido recuperar para las comunidades los rostros y las voces de los diferentes sujetos que intervienen en ella, tal es el caso de las mujeres, los pueblos originarios y étnicos, los campesinos e incluso los hombres en sus nuevos roles (masculinidades). En el artículo se propone recuperar los rostros de los niños y niñas en la Biblia de los discursos androcéntricos y adultocéntricos. Metodológicamente se tomaron los textos donde aparecen los niños como víctimas, para que a la luz de lo que el texto dice visibilizar al niño en su condición, ya fuera esta favorable o no para ellos. Este recorrido por textos del primer y segundo testamento invita a rupturas con prácticas religiosas y sociales que no consideran a los niños aptos para la revelación de Dios, negándoles la posibilidad de un espacio y una participación activa en la comunidad y la sociedad. En la superación de esas ideas está la posibilidad para tener una infancia protegida, amada, participativa y autónoma que no tolera el maltrato ni el abuso. The contextual reading of the Bible in the Latin American continent has allowed the recovery, for the communities, of the faces and voices of the different subjects who take part in it. Such is the case of women, native and ethnic peoples, farmers, and even men in their new roles (masculinities). The article proposes to recover the faces of boys and girls in the Bible from the androcentric and adult-centric discourses. The texts chosen were those where children appear as victims to make the child visible in their condition, in the light of what the text says, whether it was favorable or not for them. This journey through texts of the first and the second Testament invites to break with religious and social practices that consider children unfit for God’s revelation, denying them the possibility of space and active participation in the community and the society. When overcoming those ideas, there is the opportunity to have protected, loved, participative, and autonomous children who do not tolerate mistreatment or abuse. |
