Summary:The Anales de la Inquisición de Lima is one of the most important and representative works by the Peruvian writer Ricardo Palma. Los Anales de la Inquisición de Lima es una de las más importantes y representativas obras del escritor peruano Ricardo Palma. Su lectura resulta particularmente interesante, porque permite conocer el pensamiento y la obra literaria del autor. Además, es una obra emblemática acerca de la Leyenda Negra sobre la Inquisición en el Perú colonial. A pesar del tiempo transcurrido desde su primera edición en 1863, es un texto leído y consultado por los interesados en la obra de Palma y la historia colonial.
Anales de la Inquisición de Lima é um dos mais importantes e representativos trabalhos do escritor peruano Ricardo Palma. A sua leitura é de grande interesse, pois permite conhecer o pensamento e obra literária do autor. É, também, um trabalho particularmente emblemático da Lenda Negra sobre a Inquisição no Peru colonial. Apesar do tempo decorrido desde a sua primeira edição em 1863, é ainda um texto lido e consultado por todos os interessados pelo trabalho de Palma e pela história colonial.
