Summary: | Le très couteux Barrington Atlas of the Greek and Roman World doit être sérieusement corrigé et complété en tenant compte des renseignements fournis par les inscriptions. /// The very expensive Barrington Atlas of the Greek and Roman World is to correct and to complete because some published inscriptions give many new toponyms. Fot the Syrian Ḥaurān alone, there are many errors and gaps. The authors chose to give the literary form of toponyms though we know another form, sometimes better form, by some inscriptions. Thanks to some unpublished texts, it is possible to add a few toponyms. /// (Unicode for Arabic abstract). |
