| Summary: | The increase of the presence of women participating in society and in the working world, beyond the frequently advocated question of pay raises, should make society more equitable and just by allowing talents to flourish beyond any gender discrimination. This essay reflects on several data points and on several European-level framework initiatives on the difficult situation of women in work settings, especially during the pandemic emergency, and on the consequences for the life of the family and of society as a whole. The essay then focuses on one of the consequences regarding the situation of young families burdened by economic threats and the absence of welfare, which is the country's demographic decline and the risk of asset impoverishment of the young population in the near future. |
