| Zusammenfassung: | The messages of Christ to the seven Churches of Asia (Rev 2-3) are an exampleof mixed literary genre in which the author offers some important elements ofChristology and ecclesiology. In each of these texts, Christ, with his titles, appearsas a model for the communities he is addressing and helps them to recognize somedangers within and beyond. When it is necessary, the risen One invites his congregationsto conversion and, through the promise of his visitation, Jesus keeps everycommunity active, whereas the action of the Spirit makes the Christological messagein the life of the Church continually present. The perspective of these texts assumesan eschatological purpose in the ‘promises to the winner’ that highlight the final goalof the ecclesial journey. I messaggi di Cristo alle sette chiese d’Asia (Ap 2-3) sono un esempio di genereletterario misto in cui l’autore offre aspetti della sua cristologia ed ecclesiologia. Inciascun testo, attraverso le auto-presentazioni, il Risorto si presenta come modello perle comunità e le aiuta a riconoscere i pericoli a cui sono soggette. L’invito a conversionee la promessa della sua visita sono un modo in cui l’Esaltato mantiene viva lavita comunitaria, mentre l’azione dello Spirito, in ogni lettera, garantisce il processodi attualizzazione della parola di Cristo. Il fine di tali messaggi assume un carattereescatologico nella promessa al vincitore, in cui appare l’obiettivo celeste che ogniChiesa è chiamata a raggiungere. |
