| Summary: | The Ratio Fundamentalis Institutionis Sacerdotalis (RF) of the Congregation forthe Clergy (2016), which regulates the formation of future priests, has given a new impetus to priestly spirituality, both in life and in theological-pastoral reflection. On theoccasion of this document, the article examines some questions of great importancefor the life of priests, on which a concrete proposal is offered. After a presentation ofthe doctrine contained in the RF, two fundamental characteristics of the spirituality ofthe diocesan priest are analyzed: the concept of “diocesaneity” and its secular character.Three main manifestations of this spirituality are then discussed and synthesized:the obedience of the priest, priestly fraternity, and pastoral charity. La Ratio Fundamentalis Institutionis Sacerdotalis (RF), de la Congregación parael Clero (2016), que regula la formación de los futuros sacerdotes ha dado un nuevoimpulso a la espiritualidad sacerdotal, tanto en la vida como en la reflexión teológico-pastoral. Con motivo de este documento, en el artículo se examinan algunas cuestionesde gran importancia para la vida de los sacerdotes, sobre las cuales se ofreceuna propuesta concreta. Tras una presentación de la doctrina contenida en la RF, seanalizan dos características fundamentales de la espiritualidad del sacerdote diocesano:el concepto de “diocesaneidad”, y su carácter secular. A continuación se discuteny se sintetizan tres principales manifestaciones de esa espiritualidad: la obediencia delsacerdote, la fraternidad sacerdotal y la caridad pastoral. |
