| Summary: | Narrative texts in the Bible lead to listening and eventually «seeing» and believing. But what happens precisely when listening becomes simultaneously seeing? Thisarticle considers such overlapping in two events taken as case studies: the propheticcall to the Seer of Patmos and the encounter of the Risen Jesus with Mary Magdalene. Both accounts surprisingly show similar narrative dynamics in spite of their quitedifferent settings. They could be regarded as paradigms of witness and mission fortoday’s believers. Ogni lettore/lettrice della Bibbia viene invitato ad ascoltare e «vedere» quanto inessa si racconta. Ma cosa accade quando l’ascolto diventa proprio sguardo? Questointreccio si può costatare in due eventi presi da case studies: la chiamata profetica alveggente di Patmos e l’incontro del Risorto con Maria di Magdala. Lo studio comparativomostra in circostanze molto diverse una dinamica narrante simile e sorprendente. Ambedue gli incontri diventano paradigma della testimonianza e missione peril cristiano/a d’oggi. |
