Description
Summary:Since vaccine against the Corona-virus SARS-CoV-2 is given, governments of the Western societies aim at an entire immunization protection of the whole population. Thereby they have to outweigh the goods of vaccinating the people with the rights of the citizens. In order to respect free decisions of the individuals, governments prefer social pressure against those who do not decide to get vaccinated. The most popular strategy of social pressure is excluding the group of non-vaccinated persons from the public sphere. From the perspective of a theory of recognition by Axel Honneth, such instruments are worse justified than a common obligation of vaccinating.
