| Summary: | L'article décrit le rôle du maître dans un groupe issu du bouddhisme zen en Europe. L'analyse est centrée sur l'institutionnalisation et les limitations de son pouvoir charismatique. Certaines modifications et les changements actuels concernant le rapport entre maître et disciple suggèrent que dans la transmission du zen en France, il n'y a pas seulement « transvasement » d'une culture à une autre, mais modification par la culture religieuse d'accueil. The article describes the role of the Master in a European group deriving itself from zen buddhism. The analysis hinges on the institutionalization and the limits of his charismatic power. Certain ongoing modifications and changes in the relationship between Master and disciple suggest that in the transmission of zen in France we are dealing not only with the « dumping » of one culture upon another but with a modification by the religious nature of the receiving culture. Der Artikel beschreibt die Rolle des Meisters in einer sich vom Zen-Buddhismus herleitenden Gruppe in Europa. Die Analyse richtet sich auf die Institutionalisierung und die Grenzen seiner charismatischen Macht. Gewisse derzeitige Abwandlungen und Veränderungen in der Beziehung zwischen Meister und Schüler deuten darauf hin, dass es sich bei der Weitergabe des Zens in Frankreich nicht nur um ein « Überpumpen » einer Kultur in eine andere handelt, sondern auch um eine Abwandlung durch die aufnehmende Kultur. |
