Description
Summary:Rather than try to evaluate to what extent Rousselot is faithful to his privileged interlocutor, Thomas Aquinas, the article analyzes how The Eyes of Faith is a model of suntheologein (Rahner), precisely because it covers a wide range of attitudes, faithful or critical, but always creative, and offers a typology. These varied modes of theologizing with Thomas contribute together to the way Rousselot articulates exterior elements, inner light, will and evidence in an organic vision of the act of faith that stresses its free and supernatural dimensions.
