Description
Summary:While still a Lutheran, Louis Bouyer wrote a series of letters to first communicants, articulating a beautiful theology of the Eucharist and of Eucharistic communion. While written in 1936, the theology of these letters is remarkably consonant with Bouyer's mature, Catholic theology, and reveal — as in many aspects of his thought — a deep consistency and coherence, and witness to his comprehensive theological vision centered on the Paschal Mystery.
