| Summary: | «Ignatius and his understanding of God» deals with the vision of God which Ignatius had during his lifetime and gave as a heritage to his followers through the Spiritual Exercises and his other writings. In this article we concentrate on Ignatius's understanding of God as the Redeemer, the Lord and Eternal King, the Transcendental Trinity and the Immanent God of the Gospels, the Incarnated Christ, and God the Lover. The picture of God, for Ignatius, as the Divine Majesty brings home both the transcendence of God as the supreme Lord of the whole of creation and the goodness of God as Love in becoming one of us and becoming fully involved in our affairs. «Ignatius and his understanding of God» brings forth emphatically the fact that, for Ignatius, the love of God blossoms in mission and in service and in the reading of the signs of the times correctly. «Ignazio e la sua comprensione di Dio» si occupa con la visione di Dio che Ignazio riteneva durante la sua vita e ha dato questo come un'eredità ai suoi figli attraverso gli Esercizi Spirituali e altri suoi scritti. In questo articolo ci concentriamo sulla comprensione di Ignazio riguardo Dio come Redentore, il Signore e Re eterno, la Trinità trascendentale e il Dio immanente dei Vangeli, il Cristo incarnato e Dio l'amante. L'immagine di Dio, per Ignazio, come la Maestà Divina sottolinea sia la trascendenza di Dio come il Signore supremo di tutta la creazione che la bontà di Dio come amore a diventare uno di noi e pienamente coinvolto nei nostri affari. «Ignazio e la sua comprensione di Dio» porta avanti con enfasi il fatto che Dio di Ignazio fiorisce in missione e in un servizio che legge correttamente i segni dei tempi. |
