The 1993 document of the Biblical Commission excludes the typology, as well as intertextuality which it belongs, from the field of «scientific» methods. They are so to speak relegated to the field of interpretation. After a critics of the classification of the «methods», it is shown how intertextuality is one of the operations necessary to the exegesis, and that, just like it, typology owes and can be based on reasonable and controllable criteria. | ||
