| Summary: | In the rapidly changing global times we cannot ignore the emerging new reality of concrete religious pluralism in our world. To meet this challenge, in this paper, I have specifically focused on Bernard Lonergan's notion of religious value as this relates to the human subject as a person and as this relates to experiences of love as these are known by persons at the higher levels of consciousness. We see how fully Lonergan dedicated himself to a thorough study of human interiority and how he related experiences of religious value to decisions that exist at the fourth level of human consciousness. Within our affectivity, a state or condition of being in love is critical in any fruitful search that yearns for good decisions and discernment about the meaning of religious values. And so, from a foundation proceeding from the normative dynamism that exists within human interiority, one can apply Lonergan's principles of explanation to our contemporary religious world that, as we experience it, is filled with so much diversity. In tempi di veloce cambiamento globale non possiamo ignorare la nuova realtà emergente del concreto pluralismo religioso nel nostro mondo. Per affrontare questo cambiamento, in questo contributo, ho fatto leva in particolare sulla nozione lonerganiana di valore religioso, in quanto questo si riferisce al soggetto umano come persona e in quanto questo fa riferimento alle esperienze di amore come sono vissute dagli uomini al loro più alto livello di consapevolezza. Vediamo come Lonergan si è pienamente dedicato a uno studio globale dell'interiorità umana e come ha ricondotto le esperienze di valore religioso a decisioni che stanno al quarto livello della consapevolezza umana. Nella nostra affettività, uno stato o condizione di innamoramento è critico in ogni ricerca fruttuosa che desideri attenere buone decisioni e discernimento a proposito del significato dei valori religiosi. E così, a partire da un fondamento che deriva dal dinamismo normativo che esiste nell'interiorità umana, si possono applicare i principi di spiegazione di Lonergan nel nostro mondo religioso contemporaneo, che, come sperimentiamo, è colmato di una così grande diversità. |
