As the bond and ever-greater «more» of the love of Father and Son, the Spirit is the sovereign freedom and fruitfulness of God. As the ekstasis of divine love in theologia, the Spirit is also God's openness outward as love for the world in oikonomia. By forming the human life and mission of Jesus Christ to be the revelation of the self-surrendering triune love for the sinful world and by conforming believers in new and unique ways to Christ in his body and bride the church, the Spiritus Creator transforms the whole creation and incorporates it into the life of the triune God. Lo Spirito è la forma e il potere trasformante dell'amore divino. In quanto legame e sempre maggior «di più» dell'amore tra il Padre e il Figlio, lo Spirito è la suprema libertà e pienezza di Dio. Ekstasis dell'amore divino, nella theologia, lo Spirito è anche apertura al di fuori come amore per il mondo, nella oikonomia. Nel formare la vita umana e la missione di Gesù Cristo a essere la rivelazione del circumincedente amore uno e trino per il mondo peccaminoso, e nel conformare i credenti in modo nuovo e unico verso Cristo nel suo corpo e sposa, la Chiesa, lo Spirito Creatore trasforma l'intera creazione e la incorpora nella vita del Dio uno e trino. |
