Description
Summary:The analysis of the "visibility" in Luke's Infancy Gospel has yielded a double result. Methodologically, the absence of a centre worked in favour of a redactionally programmed semantic development, and in this continuity the visibility was justified as a preunderstanding beside others already existing. At the semantic level, the revealing language of the texts found in the visual vocabulary the go-between of the relation between man and God, without, however, reducing the distance or facilitating the understanding. So, if we can talk of aesthetics, this will not be the translation of the mystery in history, but the underlying of the distance, an aesthetics of the sublime made possible by the question.
