Description
Summary:In view of the theory of the genetic foundations of social behaviour of organisms (man included) which is called sociobiology, the author analyzes the endeavour which tries to legitimate by the science of nature a cynic anthropology. This endeavour presupposes that man is a machine (I), rejects the determination at which the great practical philosophy arrives about man as a being which has its end in itself (II), declares illusive the unity of subjectivity (III), and negates man's morality and free choice (IV). A sketch of a critique of this doctrine is presented, in a rough outline (V), and then in relation to one of the theorems, namely that of genetic determinism (VI).
