Summary: | The article is a longer review of the book written by Franz Scholz: Wege, Umwege und Auswege der Moraltheologie, München 1976. The book puts remarkable emphasis on the teleological reasoning in modern moral theology insofar as inner-historical goods of man are concerned. It tries to overcome the classical distinction between direct and indirect acting; the only criterion is the proportionate reason. The present articles is less a critic rather than a deepened analysis of the questions raised by the author. It tries to emphasize more than the author does the metaphysical background of the neo-scholastic reasoning and so to come to a better understanding of the complex problem. |
