Dal sacerdozio di Cristo lo sguardo si sposta sul sacerdozio battesimale, per cui tutti i cristiani sono chiamati a fare della propria vita un sacrificio vivente gradito a Dio. È a servizio di questo sacerdozio comune che esiste nella Chiesa il sacerdozio ministeriale.
