| Summary: | Dans cet article, Pierre-Olivier Monteil situe la proposition énoncée par Paul Ricœur dans sa conférence de 1992, "Le pouvoir politique: fin du théologico-politique?", publiée dans le présent numéro, par rapport aux autres textes publiés par le philosophe à ce sujet, tant à la même époque qu'antérieurement, afin de repérer les continuités et discontinuités de sa pensée sur ce thème. Outre sa conception du théologico-politique, sont ensuite envisagées les conséquences qu'elle entraîne sur sa compréhension de la démocratie, avec la réhabilitation du lien horizontal du pouvoir. Cette approche se prolonge au sujet de la modernité, point sur lequel l'accord avec Claude Lefort sur le vide de fondation, en 1992, est nuancé par la suite. In this article, the author views Paul Ricœur's proposition in his 1992 conference, "Political power: the end of the Theologico-Political?", published in the present edition, with respect to other texts he published on the subject, at the same period or beforehand, in order to pick out continuations and discontinuations of his thinking on this theme. Apart from his concept of the Theologico-Political, this study analyses the consequences it brings to his comprehension of democracy, with the rehabilitation of the horizontal link of power. This approach extends onto the subject of modernity, point on which the agreement with Claude Lefort on the foundation void, in 1992, is later modified. |
