C'est une confirmation documentaire de l'hypothèse qui attribue la note de ca. des Registres d'Avignon de l'ASV au bureau d'un secrétaire. Dans ce registre on inscrivait précisément le type des suppliques que l'on trouve très rarement dans la série commune des Reg. Suppl. des Archives du Vatican. This is the first and until now only known evidence for a register of petitions belonging to the private office of a papal secretary during the Avignon period. It offers proof of an expeditio litterarum per viam secretarii instead of the better known per viam cancellariae. Here we have documentary confirmation of the hypothesis that the annotation 'de ca.' in the Reg. Aven. of the ASV refers to the bureau of a secretary. In this register one finds precisely the type of petitions that are very rarely found in the usual series of the Reg. Suppl. of the Vatican Archives. |
