| Summary: | In questo breve saggio si vuole mostrare, con un linguaggio essenziale e divulgativo, come il cuore della speculazione tomista sia la singolarità, e come il piano universale abbia negli individui il suo fondamento e il suo costante riferimento. Questo lo si vede chiaramente sia in logica (specificazione continua dei concetti tramite l’induzione) che in etica (legge e suo riadeguamento ai casi singolari), sia in gnoseologia (molteplicità dei singoli intelletti) che in metafisica (distinzione tra essenza e actus essendi, come fonte inesauribile di determinazioni). In this short essay I would show, with a language essential and simple, that the heart of the Thomistic speculation is the singularity, and that the universal plan has its foundation and its constant reference in concrete individuals. This is paramount in logic (continuous specification of concepts by induction) and in ethics (law and its readjustment to the singular cases), in the theory of knowledge (multiplicity of individual intellects) and in metaphysics (distinction between essence and actus essendi as an inexhaustible source of determinations). |
