Al contrario, intendo mostrare che essa costituisce un presupposto fondamentale di qualsiasi fede rivelata e che non è affatto priva di giustificazione razionale (induttiva), purché essa non si mescoli con le tematiche positive collegate ai problemi della cosmogonia fisica. Si tratta infatti della questione metafisica se le cose siano esistenti di per sé o invece debbano (intemporalmente) la loro esistenza a un creatore. Talk of creation out of nothing is often viewed like a vestige of mythological and prescientific conceptions, or of outdated metaphysical patterns. At most, it could only be a matter of belief. Contrarily, I intend to show that it is a crucial presupposition of any revealed belief, that it is not short of rational (inductive) justification, as long as it is not mingled with positive issues like the problems of physical cosmogony. It is the metaphysical issue as to whether things are self-existing or owe (tilmelessly) their existence to a creator. | ||
