Trascendendo la superficie letterale dei testi, Fedrigotti prova a rileggere la trama dei tre romanzi fiabeschi giungendo a riconoscere in essi le sezioni di un triplice trattato di antropologia teologica. Mediante i suoi scritti Calvino pare simbolicamente concentrarsi sulla condizione esistenziale dell’uomo post-moderno arrivando a cogliere le inquietudini, le incoerenze e le contraddizioni di chi, essendosi opposto al Cielo ut si Deus non daretur, ha finito per rigettare anche la terra. The aim of Fedrigotti’s article is to analyze, from a philosophical point of view, three masterpieces written by Italo Calvino: The Cloven Viscount, The Baron in trees and The Nonexistent Knight. Going beyond the literal surface of these texts, Fedrigotti, tries to reread the plot of the three fairy-novels, coming to identify the different sections of a three-fold essay of theological anthropology. Through his writings, Calvino seems to focus symbolically on the existential condition of the post-modern man, succeeding in understanding the anxieties, the incoherencies and the contradictions of whom, standing opposite to Heaven ut si Deus non daretur, finishes to reject also the Earth. |
