| Summary: | As to the presence, in the second half of the sixteenth century, of the question of «potentia Dei» in the sacred oratory, an example of particular interest is represented by Francesco Panigarola’s Cento ragionamenti sopra la Passione di Nostro Signore. In this work the distinction between «potentia Dei absoluta» and «potentia Dei ordinata» is widely discussed, more from an Ockhamist stance than from a Scotist one. Per quanto concerne la presenza del tema della «potentia Dei» nell’oratoria sacra della seconda metà del Cinquecento, il caso dei Cento ragionamenti sopra la Passione di Nostro Signore di Francesco Panigarola è particolarmente interessante. In questo testo viene ampiamente trattata la distinzione tra «potentia Dei absoluta» e «potentia Dei ordinata», con riferimento più alle posizioni occamiane che a quelle scotiane. |
