Cet article, qui éclaire leurs succès et leurs difficultés, montre dans quelle mesure ces groupements peuvent être considérés comme des moteurs de la communauté protestante de cette région. Youth movements in Alsace had a particular history between 1918 and 1970. Marked by the historical and cultural specificities of the region, they became recognized as essential elements in the training of young Protestants, offering them the experience of hitherto unknown forms of social interaction and the chance to involve themselves, to take responsibilities and to express themselves. This article brings out their successes and their difficulties, and shows to what extent these groups may be seen as driving forces in the Protestant community of the region. Die Jugendorganisationen haben im Elsaß zwischen 1918 und 1970 eine einzigartige Entwicklung erfahren. Geprägt durch die geschichtlichen und kulturellen Besonderheiten der Region boten sie den jungen Protestanten entscheidende Gelegenheit zur Bildung, in dem sie ihnen bisher unbekannte gemeinschaftliche Lebensformen ermöglichten, eigenes Engagement und Verantwortung zu leben, einen eigenen Ausdruck zu finden. Der Artikel beleuchtet Erfolge und Schwierigkeiten und zeigt in wie weit die Jugendorganisationen als treibende Kraft innerhalb der evangelischen Kirche dieser Region gelten kann. |
