Qu'il s'agisse du passage à l'écrit mémoriel qui accompagne la naissance d'une «compagnie reglée», de la place qu'y occupe ce qui fait alors problème – du respect des ordonnances somptuaires aux abjurations –, ils renvoient par delà des efforts de cohésion de l'institution consistoriale, aux fractures de la communauté huguenote, à l'amalgame du spirituel et du matériel. Dans la part grandissante qu'y revêt l'écriture comptable se lit aussi l'évolution du consistoire huguenot vers un organisme de charité, d'une République mettant en place une «bonne police» des pauvres. This contribution is based on an examination of the registers of the huguenot consistory established at Lausanne in the wake of the Refuge that followed the Revocation. It focuses on the indicative value of the written consistorial text. Norms and rules are interpreted by means of several significant examples, which set the multiple parameters of the images of exile. Whether it was a matter of the transition to memorial writings that accompanied the birth of a "regulated company," or the extent of difficulties in the deliberations – from respect for the sumptuary ordinances to abjurations – the registers reflect the consistory's search for cohesion amid the fractures of the huguenot community, and the amalgam of the spiritual and the material. This ever-increasing system of "accounting" writing reveals the evolution of the huguenot consistory as a charity organization of a Republic that sought to establish "good order" and the proper regulation of the poor. Die Auswertung der Register des hugenottischen Konsistoriums, das während des «Grand Refuge» in Lausanne eingesetzt wurde, ist die Grundlage dieses Beitrags, der sich mit der Bedeutung der Angaben des konsistorialen Textes beschäftigt. Normen und Regeln werden anhand von aussagekräftigen Beispielen als auch anhand der Parameter der Bilder des Exils interpretiert. Vom Übergang zum gedenkenden Schreiben, das den Beginn einer «regulierten Bruderschaft» («compagnie reglée») begleitet und vom Raum, den die Probleme darin beanspruchen – sie reichen von der Einhaltung der Anweisungen zum einfachen Lebensstil bis zum Abschwören des evangelischen Glaubens-, verweisen sie über die Anstrengungen zum Zusammenhalt der konsistorialen Institution und die Brüche in der hugenottischen Gemeinschaft zuletzt auf die Vermischung von Geistlichem und Materiellem. Im wachsenden Anteil eines buchhalterischen Schreibens kann die Entwicklung des hugenottischen Konsistoriums hin zu einer diakonischen Organisation einer Republik abgelesen werden, die eine gute Ordnung («bonne police») für die Armen einrichtet. |
